Limestone topped with basalt gives a distinctive look to this headland. Caves in the limestone were, until recently, a sheltering spot for the wild goats that still roam the area. The musky smell in the caves is a tell-tale sign of these elusive animals. Sturdy safety netting to stop rockfall now excludes explorers and goats alike.
