North Antrim Coast

North Antrim Coast

£9.95

The North Antrim Coast has something to marvel at round every headland. Sculpted basalt cliff faces give way to bright limestone or sandstone caves. The “pudding stone” at Cushendun and the basalt pillars at the Giant’s Causeway are among the spectacular geological formations along this remarkable coast. If you know where to look, a good range of fossils or rarer minerals can also be found. Stone Age axe heads honed from blue porcellanite quarried at Tievebulliagh Hill, near Cushendall, have been found across the British Isles and even further afield in Europe.

The print, including the mount, measures 12" x 10"
