Carrick-a-Rede Ropebridge - Antrim Coast

8.95

Close to the village of Ballintoy, Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge is a spectacular 20m expanse between the mainland and the small island of Carrickarede some 30m above the sea below. It was built to allow salmon fishermen to access the coastline from the island but now holds thousands of tourists who flock there for outstanding views and to visit just one of the filming locations for HBO's TV series 'Game of Thrones'. Nearby Larrybane quarry can also be accessed from bridge's carpark.
